In London, in the UK, if you were self-employed and you caught COVID, the government gave home payments so that you could afford to stay home and be sick at home. So we have sick pay over here. Most jobs where you have a contracted job, you are you can take off days to be sick. But now that doesn't exactly exist for self-employed people or people on the lowest end of the service jobs.
