The Importance of Child Care Subsidies

Many, many lower income people desperately need affordable child care. We could subsidize childcare in a variety of ways. I think the American Rescue Plan's child tax credit needs to be made permanent. Early childhood education on a comprehensive basis is an investment that will yield a significant return.
