This is a section that's going to need some extra memorization, right? Verses just categorizing things. So how whatever works for you to help make that connection? I like to think of, well, b flat is the fifth tone of the e flat major scale. We're going up a half step from a flat major to a minor seven. Then som blues harmony with this e diminished seven which really is just chromatically moving from the e to the f minor seven.
