The Value Premium for Small Cap Stocks

The main drivers in terms of the loadings, at least on the funds that we're going to talk about, are size and value. Size premium is still there when you take out the junk, then it becomes statistically significant again. Value premium has actually been quite robust since 19 92,. which does show up in the premiums that we're using for our estimates here. We call it a shrinkage factor. Now, now we've got to understand how much of each premium a fund can be expected to capture.
