The One Health Approach

The concept of the one health approach, or one health agenda, is being adopted by many different health authorities in many different countries. The phrase was apparently coined in the wake of the SARS-1 events back in 2003, 2004. So I think we have to recognize what is being done here is a rhetorical move to essentially make every corner of the globe, every natural resource, every plant, every animal, and every person, as part of an interconnected web that forms this new definition of public health,.
