Edmondland is well known for all the inventions, but he also had a huge patent trial with Kodak. He says that when land was a young man, he didn't litigate a patent case because he didn't want to testify in court. This tale probably refers to one of the early polarizer lawsuits. The pictures themselves compared well with Polaroids, although they took a little longer to bloom and were more prone to fading.
