When it comes to Trump though, and the Trump Organization, it never really made any sense that they escaped sort of Scott Free despite the fact that prosecutors had this crime dead to rights. The Justice Department policy says no indictment can be brought against a sitting president. But were it not for that policy, would Trump have face charges for this crime?
