The Normalisation of the Saudi Arabian Issue
I don't think there's anyone in this draw that Andy Murray is remotely afraid of on grass. I want the first thing people say in response to questions about Saudi Arabia to be, there are things I'm uneasy about. Novat Djokovic talked about anxiety about preserving the history and tradition of the sport but he didn't say anything about human rights concerns. Really Andy Murray came the closest and it didn't even feel that newsworthy. That normalisation, that creeping normalisation, really worries me because that is the whole point of sports washing. And I do think that is a direct result of what has happened with Liv and the Saudi Public Investment Fund and the PGA Tour. Leg
