The Problem With a Closed System

Nick Denton was a pioneering figure of the early internet who had started something that kind of was almost Google Reader in the early, early, Austin San Francisco and then come to New York. He had this in some ways, quite dark vision for the internet, that it was a place where both journalists could say the things, say the kind of like dark searing truths that they would never print. And he's just a completely different person from that experience.
