The Fight or Flight Response
Fight or flight is our response to fear so whenever we perceive a stimulus as either dangerous or threatening and that's the key word they're perceived it doesn't mean it's actually a threat but if we have that perception of something being dangerous automatically that fight or flight system is going to take off. The ultimate goal is to have us kind of receive a boost of energy to either fight or flee a dangerous situation. If we can change our thoughts that entire fight or flight cycle can be halted essentially because what happens in our body are all these chemical changes occurring.
