The bible doesn't give a proof text for state oppression, says the author. It actually says they are supposed to do good and for its god servant for your good. But i love your triad of kill, steal, destroy, ecause that's exactly what statism does. And in fact, if you read romans in context, it's actually a rebuke on roman abusive power.
