bluesman Robert Wilkins recorded Rolling Stone, part one in the 1920s. The song was covered by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards on 1968 album Beggars Banquet. After a long court case, an elderly bluesman finally got what he was owed. Chris Anderson unpacked this rare 78 to find out how it came to be thought of as white music.
