The Importance of Space Inertia

Every time somebody retires here, there's like a scramble to see who gets their big office. And ridiculously, all the offices in my building at least are different sizes and shapes. A lot of people don't take a bigger office just because they are happy where they are or they don't really care. Or their office is such a disaster that it's impossible to imagine moving. If you've been in there for 30 years, you got to move out.
