Is There a Catch-22 in Space Astronomy?
There are long-term plans to build a radio telescope on the far side of the moon. I don't think there's an easy fix unless you're a supervillain and you're happy to start sort of blasting down satellites with high-powered lasers. These bits of space do have to be removed whether it's by a laser or by a big net or something like that. There are very few binding laws when it comes to launching stuff into space, it's a bit of a legal wild west.
