How Do You Train Young Athletes?

In studies, if you just do a ton of high intensity, those athletes will get way better really fast. But apply that long term over months and years, you're not gonna see the same development. And what about aging athletes? Also an open question about whether this works for female athletes as we talked about before. The final complication is, if you're doing lactate control training theoretically, but aren't doing lactate testing, are you actually doing lactate Control training? I think it's all about the principles.
