Weagers are a mostly moslem ethnic minority from northwestern china. The weager homeland has become a very contested space for sommerjohn. Boxing isn't fighting against something, it's fighting for something. It's self determination. In each episode we look at a different location to understand ideas that flow from that place. This istambu, turkey, where a community in exile is seeking to preserve their cultural identity and integrate into turkish society.
