Timothy McVay was a returning Gulf War veteran disillusioned by the American economy in the early 1990s. He is out working the gun show circuit selling these anti-government bumper stickers and paraphernalia at gun shows across the country. And when he hears of the siege in Waco, he drives down and sets up a camp there and is sitting there selling anti-Government bumper stickers outside the siege as it's ongoing. Of course, then is inspired by that fire to go on to plan the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. The Branch Davidians fired 12,000 rounds back at the government.
