Over the past 15 years a we see more morbidity and mortality in black angus cattle than any other breed. We just think we see a lot of heart failures. It's nothing you can do for it, obviously, but the heart just can't keep up. They have high blood pressure. Even pap tested calves here as a test. The quality has been better in the north. Is that an environmental thing? Or manage thin er combination? Lot of that. An environment dictates genetics. But each breed has itson idiosyncrasy genatically.
