How to Restore Order in Emotions

There are three main practices that Thomas indirectly recommends to us to help restore our powers to this proper order. The Thomistic principle behind these three practices is the same. Practically speaking, we can restore order in the emotions by consciously and consistently directing our attention to reality as we know it to be. First, fast, second, contemplate, third, pursuit, and short, become a Dominican. Just kidding, but it does help. Because a hook looks at each practice and why it helps.
