When we think about good leaders, its people that are authentic. And is actually often authentic means there is a degree of vulnerability on a personal level. I don't know how much we can learn from this, beyond the fact that many might find it aspirational. But if we think that people want to self actualize, then the best way to make them do their best possible work is to find what fires them in fine where they want to go.
