Is There a Way to Regulate Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

I think the thing I want to do here is round out these high level concepts and arguments, things like, we should all coordinate in order to prevent the deployment of dangerous systems. And then when it comes to thinking more about governance and the ways in which we can implement regulations, again, I'm pretty excited about people looking into especially people with more of a background in automated verification and programming language design or things along those lines. So maybe I'll give a couple of examples of this. One broad example is just doing research on chip level verification mechanisms such that we can try and produce chips that can't be used for certain types of particularly risky training.
