The Battle of the Ramblers
More than forty ramblers took part in the scuffle. Five men were taken to the police station and detained. One of those arrested was benny rothman. When he was sent for trial in a nearby country town, one look at the faces in the court room told him the game was up. It was obvious that we were going to get no sympathetic hearing from them.
