There's a reason why most telephone numbers are six or seven digits. The capacity for almost all everyone, every human is six plus or minus two digits to keep it in mind. But what's fascinating is that it's tied into how we use language. There's some studies in the Amazon or indigenous populations that don't have numbers for more than two.
