Are You Being Pressured to Do Something?

When you're not dependent on your art for your livelihood, i think that often you make better work. I feel like sometimes the pressure to sell tries to shape the narrative of who i am as an artist. Once you've achieved success with that one thing, it's hard to find the freedom to do something else. You can kind of feel backed into a corner creatively. It sort of comes back to that cultural narrative we've been talking about surrounding creative work.
