When you don't really know what to say, disuse all these little words like usually and kind of. And native speakers use those sorts of expressions all the time when they are not sure about what they're saying for example. So listen back to the conversation, write and listen for those bits of vague language that can be used in a sentence. It makes you sound more fluent. E.g., "To be in touch with something means er. In this case, it's to be intouch with your feelings"
