How to Get Yourself by After a One Night Stand

i recently had my first ever one night stand, and it's left me strung out and stressed. i've concluded that in my current vulnerable state, having sex with people won't help anything. Journaling therapy only goes so far to talk to my pre conditioned brain out of searching for a mate. I just know there's so much healing that needs to be done. At times it feels overwhelming. It's hard because i love love and compassion, and being single is scary. Any tips or tricks to get me through this in between im till i start therapy? Thanks.
