Pain Colitis - What's the C-Diff Test?

The patient had a chest X-ray without any acute cardiopulmonary abnormalities. He got ACT abdomen impolvus, as expected; showed diffuse mouth thickening of the small bowel with some small bowel edema consistent with pain colitis. Did have a respiratory panel that was positive for a non-cilic coronavirus. All of the blood cultures and urine cultures were pending. The question becomes, do we start thinking about antibiotics for him? And I think that's a good question. You at least know that they're C-diff negative, but he looks clinically very ill.
