There's huge prosperity in America. The problem is that we have deliberately chosen policies that take the majority of that prosperity and cram it into the top 10% if not the top 1%. If your kid has a rare disorder, there's a decent chance there is either a drug available or in development that might be able to cure a previously incurable disease. So I'm optimistic. There's just no arguing with our prosperity. The key is are we making progress? And what I don't like and what I would push back on is that there's this illusion of complexity, that these problems are so big, we can't solve them.
