The Role of Beauty in the Face of War
The play raises questions about the role of beauty in the face of war. It was written by eric gill, who has also written a book on dostoyevsky. One of the things that we were kind of hopingtoo talk about is basically how literature and music shouldn't be casualties of war. But sometimes people's vision is so consumingly powerful it really knocks them off centre.
