Inflation and Welfare on a Global Scale
There are attempts to kind of think through the politics of welfare and inflation on that global scale. We always think of inflation of that time in the us. But the global south was hit even harder. How did inflation impact the third world? And then how did the political and economic powers that be in the capitalist corps transform that crisis into a sovereign debt crisis on the periphery)? Looka o. That's not the entire 19 70 in front of us. I can't, i can't speak in much detail to how inflation exactly articulated itself in the global south.
