Richard: I think it's very essential to the teachings of christianity that god became flesh and that he was killed by the people he created. The resurrection is kind of a required part of the story in a way that i wouldn't say that the first few chapters of genesis, or the book of jonah, the book of job need be historical in that sense. But as far as the resurrection jesus goes, i do think hathe, there has to be a historical, a like an epistemic truth to it,. Because the whole subject ofth of the new testament, is a new creation. It's a transformation of humanity. Now all that is debatable
