Three quarters of the world's demand for rare earths comes not from batteries but from electronic devices. Consumer electronics today account first for a significantly greater portion of demand for these metals and minerals then do any other applications. We're adding on top of that another layer of demand from electrification and from renewable energy technologyYeah because I'm assuming it's a good assumption there is more of certain types of material being dug up now to make batteries than there was 20 years ago.
