The Life and Times of Napoleon's School in Brienne
Brienne was a government school administered by the Franciscan Order of Monks. The students attended mass six days a week, and they were required to take confession at least once every two months. Math was Napoleon's best subject, which would go on to dictate much of his future. His worst subject was Latin, maybe ironic given his affinity for the Romans,. But the deficiency doesn't seem to have bothered him.
