I noticed that other people were definitely more capable than I was in the emergency department. Having that kind of approach to a patient made me feel like I could now deal with a variety of things. It wasn't just one case, for example, but now I had an approach that I could use to patient care going forward. This was a way to hone in and focus my thinking in organized fashion.
