Roxanne Jones: Are you taking runners through a periodized strength training regime where they actually get to a max strength phase? Or is it all really focused on traditional, you know, higher rep, lower weight stuff, which doesn't really get periodized? Jones: There is a time and place for heavy lifting. And obviously like our goal for our runners isn't to get their run one rep max as high as possible. But there is a time to be lifting heavy and being okay with your quality.
