Is Domestic Labor Less Valuable Than Professional Work?
The idea that domestic labor is somehow less valuable than professional work. If women in america were paid minimum wage for the amount of domestic labor that they do unpaid right now, it would be worth one point nine trillion dollars per year. This is so valuable to the country, yes, that we will pay a mother. We'll make sure that the government is supporting a mother because, you know, you talk about this in the book and it's really fascinating to get into.
