The Balance Between Fulfillment and Ambition

The brain is made up of a collection of semi-autonomous circuits. We do have these dopamine circuits that will push us no matter what and never let us be satisfied, but we have other sets of circuits that actually can make us satisfied. The guy who can afford the lake house may be the guy who's least likely to be able to enjoy it.
