Jesse Harris - What Is Blush?
Marth: We wrote almost every song on blush was I would write up a poem of some sort and send it to him. And he would send me back that poem accompanied to music. That's the version that ended up being on the record was the one I did in my living room with like three chords in it or whatever. So, or the way that we wrote together changed a lot. The musical background that I grew up in was in that kind of music that Jesse also was sort of known for which is what made our collaboration very peaceful as we have pretty similar tastes.
