Is There a Touch of Any Kind in Psychiatry?

Psychiatry is taught in the western paradise of psychiatry that touch is discourageda because there are cases where it has become a slippery slope. People have dated their patients, or dated their patients after they are technically done seeing them as patients. And all that hs existed long before the use of psychodelic medicine. There's an opportunity for us to understand how do we normalize healthy, consentual touch? How do we make consent not just sexy, but mandatory and actually a corp part of what makes building relationships with people fun and enjoyable and meaningful?
