The Importance of the Independent Orthodox Church of Ukraine
There has been a concerted effort and efforts in between to try and create an independent Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This sort of was integral for a number of reasons, one of which was opposed to threat to long standing Russian influence. But it also caused some ruptures among other churches so if you wouldn't mind could you just talk a little bit about these churches and the way that they're present in Ukraine? Sure. For those of you listening there's a great page of abbreviations for all the churches which is very helpful to reference.
