Film Review: Spartacus

The film has taken on a life of its own. It's the most famous version of spartacus, quite rightly. And partly because of that scene where we see unity with spartacus himself. So in that way, they are all spartacus. These changes to the narrative then, or at least these embellishments to the narrative, really show us how we view independence differently. The romans are just glad to have put down the slaves.
