I think Mastodon as a concept is great. This idea being federated and own your own server, run your own moderation. That's how things should do. I would love Mastodon to be a massive success. My skepticism is number one, it's just there's inherent weaknesses in that as far as user experience on boarding things like that. There's real privacy concerns, which I you should just be aware of. But whoever runs that server sees everything right doesn't need to worry too much about what the rest of us are doing. You find a good group of folks that will call your BS and like go back and forth. And that's amazing.
