The Clapham Sect

If there's over 2,350 verses in the Bible that talks about God's heart for the poor, then I can't claim to have God's heart and not advocate for them. So God's just, God's wearing me out. Then I start reading about, there's a book called The Clapham Sect who were ticked off about slavery. And they said, hey, most of the slaves work the sugar cane plantations over the West Indies. What if we gave up sugar until slavery ends? And lo and behold, that's what they do.
