Is It OK to Sanitize War?
As a historian of war who's written books on booth hfirst and second world war, i think i very much oppose that kind of sanitization of war. I can't abide this attempt, whether it's in universities or in news organizations, to present the past through some kind of sepia tintedl i think it's absolutely immoral, actually. And we have a moral imperative to pursue truth. Truth is what happened, what was said by hitler in the speech in which he announced that if there were a war, that the jews be annihilated. That is part of truth. And an institution of the sort that we're founding has to be committed to that kind of
