Parenting Is Hard, but It Was Tough for Sure

I had an amazing childhood. I'm so lucky and privileged. And then, yeah, just as soon as puberty hit, we butted heads a lot. They reacted with rage, like being lied to. And they did a tough love thing that was difficult. We're so close now, but we don't really talk about that time. But it must be very hard to be a parent. It is.
