Choosing to Deploy Capital to Build Something That Works
With my 50 person digital music team, I was nimble and we could adapt. It's choosing to deploy your capital to build something that works as opposed to deploying your capital to draw customers to something where you have no evidence it works yet. If they hadn't spent 200 million dollars, maybe they could have kept that business going because it was small enough to keep on perfecting it but not so big that it became a drain on that.
