Why More People Don't Read

I changed my mind three or four different times about the climate. I was one of the early techno optimist internet cheerleaders because I believed if everybody had a microphone, we would end up with a really interesting juicy and positive world. The extraordinary heroic work of the people who saved millions of lives during COVID has been underappreciated. It's easy to look at public health successes and imagine that they are inevitable. We don't value it as much as we should.
