You Can't Trust in the Work of Another
Chap briton is one of our resident a calvinists. He says, i stop working for my salvation and i trust in christ's work. The scriptures consistently say, oa, wait, waywait. You can't do that either. That's ultimately what the calvinist is arguing. Whether they recognize it or not, they're ultimately saying you can't trust in the work of christ because that itself is a work that you can't accomplish. And that's what we're saying. No, we're calling foul there. We're saying, that's not what paul is teaching. It's ceasing to work so as to trust in the works of another
