I know after your PhD worked on this probabilistic parsing using left corner language models and one thing that kind of stuck out to me was our current models don't quite capture what's observed in language empirically, right? We have these formalisms about grammar about the way language works but when you and I are speaking colloquially we don't always obey those formalisms.
