I'm really glad i didn't start smoking pot until i was in graduate school, because if i did, i would not have got into graduate school. It diminishes motivation to a degree. Most kids that get into substances too young don't form the versions of themselves i think they could be. There's a buffer. I believe deeply in school, because you're supposed to be frustrated a little bit when you're young. You're supposed to understand how to get through those frustrations. But i also went through public education, and i became a doctor, and i went through college, and i suck at school, and i hate school. 28 years of my life were il so stressed out
